Which is the best profession?

Disclaimer: These are my views and opinions, and are not meant to hurt anyone's feelings or intentions.

The answer is, none. I have seen my classmates arguing over how engineers are better than doctors, saying doctors are nothing without engineers. But I'm not here to state my opinions on this argument. Instead I want to ask why does this argument even exist?

I believe every profession has its own importance, for each one of them was created by some necessity. The need of one profession does not reduce the importance of the other. For example, engineers are important because they make the machinery used by doctors, and the doctors take care of your health. Any person with poor health, including engineers, would not be able to work properly; and advancement in medical technologies would not be possible without engineers! The comparison between the two does not make sense to me. Perhaps, the most looked-down-upon professions are the most important ones; for example the cleanliness workers, the security personnels, the office peons, the construction workers or the farmers. Their job might seem small but they have an unnoticed impact in our daily life. Your salary does not define the importance of your job. Cleanliness plays a major role everywhere which makes the sanitory workers' job cruical. If not cleaned for two days, your house will also become a mess. Farming is considered as a low standard profession but the physical and mental effort that goes into growing every single grain is more than the high standard jobs. By this, i mean that every job has its own importance in the society and the concept of "less important" profession is invalid.

In the world of increasing judgement and jealousy, as the upcoming generation we must understand that each and every job has a role in running the society smoothly. We need to work and improve together for a better future. Respect every profession. Judging others is easy, understanding is difficult. Beware, hate is very contagious!

And that's the end! Thank you for reading!
Peace! ๐Ÿ•Š️✨

  1. Agree with your statement and I am also confused with the comparison. How can you compare the two different jobs and skills with each other it's like Wheat is more important than rice I mean how ?? And Why ? As an engineer student

  4. Yess sis! Your blog post on the best professions is insightful and well written! I agree that calling one profession better is absurd. I love how you highlighted some of the unique aspects of other career paths as well. It makes me wonder how much of thought and research you’ve into this. Keep up the great work!๐Ÿ˜❤️

  5. Badiya!! But let me clear uh something...class k bacche immature he ofc and comparison karna hi hame change hona chahiye se badiya he ye kahna ki us lvl k baccho m v awareness dena chahiye jo abhi wide range me nah soch pa rhe ...and pahle k log ayese aj k log wese ...kuch na hota ye ...pahle v mahabharat hue thi ,bhai bhai me mar kar , aj v wahi hota ...basic sense change nhi ho raha as jo inner motivation he wahi san sokat pesa rutba he so fight usi k liye hoti ...ofc har koi apne profession ko badiya kahega as wo khud vo respectable insan batana chahta he ...jarur padne per har insan madad leta hu he ... doctor he ya engineer
Moral of the story ye ki ye samjho bus duniya me log mature he v aur nhi v. Depend upon kitne perspective he unke pass such as ap abhi mere thoughts padh k different way se sochoge and may be yeska impact ab age apke blog per ho so just need to have a patient about age maturity
    Warm regards

  6. So beautifully represented! ๐ŸคŒ
Yes, it is truly rubbish how people judge and compare jobs based on their so-called parameters like money and all . As humans, we should understand and respect every profession, so we can work together to develop our society instead of fighting over which is best. :)
I appreciate the efforts you’ve put into this blog and brinh this topic between us —it’s beautifully written.✨ Hoping to see more blogs from you soon! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  7. Very nicely drafted
We can not compare all professions with one parameter, all professions have their own individual importance and value. We should respect the professions individually and value their individuality

  8. Exactly, like a society needs all the professions. No profession is superior or inferior every profession has its own role in a society and its development. The debate between this profession and that profession is absolutely Wasteful and invalid, society should be discussing about the betterment of a profession not by comparing it with the other one but by rectifying it's own flaws and delimitations. The topic of comparison exists because this way to show your proffesion better is easier and the topic of betterment without comparison brings responsibility, ownership of flaws, and mistakes which is difficult, hardworking and energy consuming to work upon. And this comparative mindset does not allows minds to find the solution for a problem but provides a satisfaction of being better than someone or something.

  9. Exactly! Coexistence is necessary, the world can't rely only on a particular profession.

  20. In this grey or almost colourless world the best profession is being-human or human-being.

  21. This is definitely the most controversial topic you've addressed, especially among teenagers, where students separate into streams with so much intensity. The comment section is full of opinions, and it's clear that the teenage energy fuels these comparisons. The reality, however, becomes clearer as people mature later in life, they may even laugh at these debates.
But to clarify, every profession is interconnected, and the importance of one does not diminish the value of another.
The cycle of life and society depends on the contributions of all professions.
Loved the content! Wishing you the best Swar, and I'm excited to read your next blog soon!!!!!
