The Gen-Z curse

We, the 'Gen-Zs ', particularly 1997-2012 borns, are recently receiving a lot of comments from the older generation, mainly because we choose to do things differently. They call us 'too sensitive, 'too chill, 'the generation that is ruining what we made.' In fact, the word Gen-Z itself is being used as slang.

Honestly, we are just the change you never expected to see. We choose to do things differently, which most of the time violates the unsaid rules of society. 'Change' doesn't always mean destruction, it includes improvement too.

The first step towards changing/improving something, is acceptance, which is perhaps the most difficult one too. You need to acknowledge the fact that you are lacking somewhere. Only then can you improve it. Having empathy is another determinant.
For example, giving constructive criticism to our parents. You tell them where they went wrong and they immediately take offence, accuse you of talking back, call you ungrateful and blame the whole generation all at once ๐Ÿ˜‚. All we were trying to do was help them improve their mistakes and eventually grow together. Still, I don't find them at fault because they never experienced this with their parents. But what we can do, is keep trying.

You need not pass down practices without pondering over them. Some have logic behind them, some have emotions but many were just created to satisfy egos ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍♀️. So, in short, don't be scared to be the change, even the smallest change matters.

And that's the end! Thank you for reading!
Peace! ๐Ÿ•Š️✨

  9. Nice thoughts
    I appreciate it
But we should know our limits during being the change
Change is important but with that we should also keep in mind about our culture and roots

this is very common in every family about matching frequency of thoughts, your emotions explained every genz's feelings about your subject "be the change ".

I would like to say such thoughts should be share and spread to every genz individual so that he or she can relate it

Once again appreciate your thoughts and feelings towards the change
