NEET and Clean?

Namaste!
Recently, NEET results were abruptly released on 4th of June, the day election results were being announced. Amongst the noise of election results, maybe the NTA officials thought their scam would not be exposed and those who raise their voice will be suppressed and ignored. But it's quite stupid to expect this in an exam having 24 lakh+ aspirants. The roar was seen rising from the next day itself. The youth was on the roads, protesting against NTA. We have all heard about the case; 67 perfect scores, insane rank inflation, paper leaks, grace marks, mathematically incorrect scores and what not. What has our country come down to? The SC said, "The sanctity of the exam has been affected". Sure is.

On behalf of all the hardworking students, who gave their everything to this exam, I have a lot of questions. Does money dominate your ethics? Is money more important than the future of this country? Does the government think it is no longer answerable to its people? Is money worth more than lives? Young students of 16-22 years of age are suiciding, ending their lives for an exam that the authority couldn't conduct properly, or rather didn't want to conduct properly. India is a young country with 65% of its population below the age of 35 and this is the condition of the only medical entrance exam of the nation. We can't even trust the paper setters now. Millions of dreams were shattered on 4th June and till date we have lost many lives. Those who are alive have lost their will to do anything. This is not just a scam with the exam, but it is also a scam with our trust, our faith on the education system, the healthcare sector and the future of this country. Many people consider leaving India as a better option and ofcourse why not? Any student will first want to improve their own life and then think of the nation. If the former itself is not fulfilled, how will one even think of the latter, even in their dreams?
Similar mismanagement happened during JEE 2024 exams as well, there were proofs of paper being leaked on social media and poor allocation of candidates among the shifts but NTAs official data is quite manipulative. There wasn't a major uproar, probably because no educational institution stood up for the students and JEE candidates being almost half in number than NEET.

A country that doesn't care for its youth, can never grow. NTA doesn't have appropriate answers to the allegations. Having no answer to questions, gives a lot of answers and raises a lot of questions too. As students, we just want a good education system and a secure future. Is that too much to ask for from the biggest democracy of the world?

An inspiring story

Hey! Today I'm here with a small story.
This is a story of the 1980s about a 10-year-old boy from a small village in Banaras. He belonged to a well-to-do family, which had recently faced a partition in the joint family. His family consisted of his parents and 5 siblings, with him being the third child after two older sisters, making him the eldest boy in the house. His father's job was in a very very far city of Mumbai, so he had to be away from his family most of the time.
In the absence of his father, the responsibility of the house fell on his mother. The boy helped her as much as he could. He carried 50kg sacks (बोरी) tied to his cycle and brought them home from the market which was approximately 10-12km away! This hefty task is nearly impossible for today's 10-year-olds! Although he did not have much interest in studies or in going to school, he passed with marks that were then considered decent.
At the young age of 19, unfortunately, his father passed away. The entire family was devastated. The boy moved to Mumbai to take up his father's job all by himself with nobody to guide him. He was away from his family but he learnt everything and did everything by himself. He lived in a tiny house in Santacruz. He became the support system of his family which was far away in Banaras. Surely, there must have been a lot of unspoken struggle to get stability in a bustling city like Mumbai along with all the chaos happening in your own life. Such inspiring resilience!
He got married at the age of 21. His wife has been supporting him ever since. Over the years, slowly and steadily their lifestyle improved and they moved to a different city with better surroundings and better living conditions. Now they have 2 children, an elder daughter and a younger son, and he tells them the stories from his childhood and about how much he misses his village. The daughter is gladly writing this blog post right now 🤭. Yes, that boy is my father and this was his life story.

The Gifted Godly Star 🌟

A few days ago I saw an unnatural dream. The dream was about our primary source of energy, the sun. I want you to imagine it together with me.
The dream started off how a normal day would start. The sun was bright and shining, but it had visible dark craters like the moon has. I wondered about this unfamiliar change for some time and suddenly there were small explosions on the sun's surface. The sun was losing its spherical shape. The scene was beautifully horrific. Within minutes the explosions ate the entire sun. There were no earlier predictions about this as well. The whole world was in awe.

The sun had died, along with all hopes of life. The majestic yellow ball of fire had gone into nothingness. The symbol of power and strength had lost to mere explosions.  Everything turned pitch dark. The sky was empty now, rather, there was no sky to be seen at all. The people in power still believed that their generated electricity would light up the world just enough for 4-5 months. The future turned uncertain in a matter of minutes. How scary! No sun meant no plants. No plants meant no life.

The dream makes no sense I know, but imagine a world without sun! We are blessed by God. The Indian traditions truly understand the importance of the Sun. Hence, we have festivals like Chatth Puja which are followed religiously.
In conclusion, we often ignore basic things and run behind materialistic things. These things do play a big role in our lives, but not the biggest. We should be grateful for the things we get without asking for; without which our lives would be impossible like food, air, water and Sun. Be grateful, be happy 😇.

And that's the end! Thank you for reading!

Robotification of Humans? 🤖

Disclaimer: These are my views and opinions and are not meant to hurt anyone's feelings or intentions.

Is Artificial Intelligence or AI, the beginning of our end? Before I continue, I want you to watch this 30-second video: Click here
(Honestly, I felt lucky to be born in India after watching this 😂)

I think it aptly represents the upcoming generations of developed and developing countries. So, is this growth of AI really helping us develop? Yes, but destructively.
The first thing we look for in the morning is our mobile phone. Our lives have become so dependent on technology that simple calculations and basic knowledge have to be looked up on the internet.
Nowadays, ChatGPT is quite talked about. It's a software that can have human-like conversations. You can search about anything and it will reply to you like a human being would. You will see many advantages of it, but are there no cons? There are many. I'll talk about a few. The first is humanisation of a robot. The fact that ChatGPT can respond like a human is, in itself, concerning. It is said that it can remember the previous conversation and give its next reply, hence it can also give therapy sessions. It would slowly and gradually deprive our thinking capabilities. The problems which are meant to be solved by you, are now being solved by a software. It can also give real-life advice on finance,  investments, diet and even on one's any kind of relationship. In my opinion, why would anyone want a chat system to overview and have a say in their relationships? It obviously cannot know you better than yourself!
Looking back 10 years from now, only a few places were rich enough to have technology. But looking 10 years ahead from now, I think rarely any place would be left on the Earth which could not be connected through technology or the Internet. Technology is not only marking us lethargic physically but also mentally. Who knows in the near future even our part of thinking and decision-making would be done by robots!

When life gives you lemons, Take notes.😂

Hey! Long time no see! Well, I am writing this probably after 1.5 years and so much has happened. Long story short, I passed class 10th with a satisfactory 96%, got selected in a reputed school for 11th and 12th and am currently going to give class 12th boards in less than a month. But the purpose of this blog is not this. I want to share a valuable life lesson that I have learned here.

This incident happened a few weeks back during our Physics Board Practical. Whole year round I performed the practicals quite seriously and completed all of them on time. The last half hour of the exam was left when my teacher tells me to give my paper to her. Being obedient, I did so. But then she started to give my answers, particularly readings,  to another boy. Isn't this exactly what is not supposed to happen in board exams? ( Maybe this is how schools get 100% results 🙂). I saw my year-long efforts and sacrifices crumble and vanish in a second. Pure saal ki mehnat only for it to end like this? This might not seem that big of a deal, but it is for me. As I already said, only half an hour was left and I was stressed as well as deeply shaken by now. I suddenly felt helpless. Let alone take action, I could not even think of words to speak. Also, I was told to "Keep my mouth shut about this" which is exactly what I am not going to do😊😇. Speaking or taking any action then would mean risking everything. Anyways, I completed my paper on time, submitted and came back straight to my home.

The lesson that we learn here is that -
1. Do not run behind reputed institutions. Analyse every aspect and take the right decisions.
2. Life can take a turn anytime anywhere, so be prepared (which I clearly wasn't 😂🙂).
3. Always completely rely on yourselves.

Small Happy Things..☆

Have you ever had a day when things were messed up and didn’t go as planned? We have all been there, isn’t it? Such a day makes our mood gloomy. But, not always! How much ever bad your day has been, there have to be some happy moments that you do not notice. The calming sound of the rain, your mischievous sibling, listening to your favourite song, the moment when you went into your dreamy world, the small laugh you had with your parents, the answer you gave in the class, they all were the happy moments you didn’t notice! The negatives have a greater effect on the mind than the positives and this makes us focus on or rethink the negatives. You may get disheartened, feel like quitting or lose confidence. But then you need to find that something made you start because someone out there has faith in you. They believe in you and you just cannot let them down! Take a break, go outside, feel nature, have a small conversation with your family or maybe take a nap, all of it helps. Also, make sure that particular negative thing doesn’t have a great impact on you, the next time you face it. Let these small happy things keep you going, for this will eventually make you go ahead and get it, or rather ACHEIVE IT!

And that's the end! Thank you for reading!

Equality V/S Equity

Equality is giving every individual the same opportunities and resources.
Equity is where resources are distributed on the basis of an individuals needs and problems.

Donot do the mistake of considering them the same! They are different and infact, kind of contrary to each other. If I give one roti each to an adult man and a child, it will somewhat look like injustice to the adult man, for it will not fulfill his needs, right? Let us understand this difference better.

Let us take the example of our country, India. The gap between the rich and the poor is wide here. I give Rs.100 to a rich man and a poor man, this is Equality. But this doesnot reduce the gap between the two. So, we need such a system where there is equitable distribution of resources, which means the poor should get more, as the rich already has sufficient resources.

This picture below will help to further clarify the idea of equality and equity in the society.
Hope you liked it. Please share ahead, even a single share creates a difference🤗.

Feminism

*These are my views and opinions and are not meant to hurt anyone's feelings or intentions

Feminism is a belief that women and men should have the same opportunities and rights. This DOES NOT mean that a women can use her rights to dominate over a man. These lines need to be understood properly.
Just because you are a woman doesnt mean you have the rights to violate somebody else's rights. Let me explain through an example.
Suppose, in a crowded place, if a man mistakenly pushes a woman, she slaps him. We call it Protection and Empowerment.I totally support Women Empowerment and Equal rights. But,what if I reverse the roles and a woman pushes a man? The woman, if gets slapped, will surely file a case or fight back the man. What do we call this? Where did the equality go?
What I am trying to convey here is that if you want equality, learn to accept to be treated the same way as you treat others. As simple as that.
Once, I read a post that said - 'Going to the doctor to see whether its a girl or an abortion'. I was like -What? Not all men are bad.
Also, if you think deeply, who is responsible for their bad behaviour? Their families and surroundings. So, why not raise a child who respects not only girls but everyone.Give your boy the same values and etiquettes that you give to your girl or vice versa. Ultimately,  we are responsible. This way we can change our society and have a better future.

And thats the end.Hope you liked it. Do follow!

My Life During Lockdown

Lockdown has changed many people. Some are becoming masterchefs👩‍🍳, some are becoming artists🎨, some are getting fat🍛, some are getting fit🤸‍♀️, while some are working from home👩‍💻, others are working for home🧹 and some are just getting fed up or bored🙇‍♀️. And I am none of these. My life has not much changed in this lockdown because I am habituated to being in the house. If I'm not at home, I'm at school or classes. Its just that now the school and classes are replaced by Online Classes😐. Well.. we'll get on that(Online Classes) later.
My whole sleep and wake cycle is disturbed! At night when its actually the time to sleep, my brain bursts open with thoughts and ideas! This blog is also the result of midnight thinking..   And then I wake up after 8, which is very late(It might seem early to you but we should be up atleast by 7). I am surely spending more time with my family, which is why I feel we should get atleast 1 month of lockdown for rejuvinating ourselves every year😂. It will also allow nature to replenish itself from all the pollution.(Its silly, I know😂). A Sparrow has found a perfect spot in our balcony and has started making her nest. The place is such that no crow will ever be able to find. Every morning she brings twigs and even thread to make her nest and that has made me admire nature. I did earlier too, but now i admire it more. The rains do create a hindrance but she still brings twigs and builds her nest. Such should be the dedication...😌

And that's the end. Hope you liked it! Do follow!

The day I drowned...😅

Hello! Welcome back! 😀
In this blog, I'll be telling you about an incident that happened with me looong back in 2015.
So we went on a family vacation to Kerala in December 2015( by family I mean everyone including my aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and grandmother as well). We went to a beach called -Kovalam Beach. It was beautiful. And as far as I remember, we weren't initially thinking of going into the water, but seeing that there were shops selling clothes also, we thought that we'll buy clothes and then change and the same happened.  My mom and her sisters were sitting a bit away from water and rest everyone was in the water. Now here's where the story begins.
We were standing, with water till our shoulders and whenever a strong wave came we jumped and the wave raised us even higher. Then this one wave came and as you all can probably predict, I failed to jump properly and got submerged for exactly 3 seconds in the water. This is where I felt I was going to drown and should have learnt swimming. Come on, what else can you expect from a girl who has never been in water of more than 3 feet height and even drowns in the 3 feet as well.🤷‍♀️ Also, I was just 10 at that time. I grabbed my uncle who was standing besides me and came up. I asked my sister, " why didn't you pull me up? I would have drowned!". She laughed and said,"you don't drown in 3 seconds!". Now that was not something I wished to hear😂, so I came out and sat with my younger sister who was making sand castles.  When everyone came out, we went and changed. We saw the beautiful sunset and went back to our hotel.

And that's the end. Hope you liked it. Do follow!
